At PerkFolio and PerkFolio Assistant, we believe that your financial data belongs strictly to you. This Privacy Policy outlines our absolute commitment to your privacy and data security.
PerkFolio Assistant operates on a strict Local-First architecture. We do not collect, store, transmit, or harvest any personal information, credit card numbers, financial logs, or browsing history.
All credit card configurations and available benefit trackers are stored strictly on your local device within your browser's secure storage (localStorage and chrome.storage.local). Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable optional Google Drive backup.
PerkFolio Assistant requests host permissions for specific supported online merchant websites (e.g., Uber, Saks). These permissions are required solely for the local content script to detect when you are visiting a checkout page and display ambient perk reminders. No browsing activity is ever recorded or sent to any external server.
If you choose to use our Google Drive sync feature within the PerkFolio web control center, data is encrypted and synced directly between your browser and your personal Google Drive account. We have no access to your Google account or your synced files.
